Approving Subscriptions in Multiple Steps
The optional multi-step approval process changes the default subscription approval steps.
Multi-step approvals break subscription approval into the following stages:
Initial Review
Detailed Review
Final Review
The Detailed Review includes approval steps for multiple teams, such as Legal and Tax. The teams included in the Detailed Review are customizable by fund.
When multi-step approvals are applied to a fund, the Subscriptions Received tab is replaced by these review stages.

Initial Review
When a new subscription arrives, it displays in the Initial Review tab.

The following users are then eligible to select the subscription and click Acknowledge:
any of the users assigned to the Initial Review stage for this fund
any user with the Management role
Once any eligible user clicks Acknowledge, the subscription moves to the Detailed Review tab.
Detailed Review

In the Detailed Review tab, click a Lot ID link shows which teams still need to review the subscription information.

Clicking the Lot ID link displays the detailed approval buttons in the Lot Details page. The buttons that are enabled are the ones for the teams to which the current user is assigned.

Including Comments with a Review
The Comments tab provides a way to add notes about the issues that result from the review.

Clicking Add Comment presents a template for recording issues with the subscription.

If the comment is associated with a document submitted with the subscription, information about the document can be included.
Final Review
Once a member of each team has completed their review of the subscription, it moves to the Final Review tab.

In the Final Review tab, the following users are eligible to select the subscription and click Accept:
any of the users assigned to the Final Review stage for this fund
any user with the Management role
Final reviewers can also read the comments left by other reviews.
Once accepted, the subscription moves to the next tab under Primary Sales.
