Setting the Portal Password Policy

To access this feature, you must log into the Corastone portal with a user account that has:

• Tech Support user role

• Internal or External user type

To define the Corastone password policy for your organization, go to the Password Policy page.

Password Format

Use the Password Format section to define the length and required characters for Corastone passwords. The minimum password length is 8 characters.

Password Management

Use the Password Management section to define expiration and reuse settings.

If password expiration is enabled, enter the number of days (1 to 999) after which users must set a new password.

If password reuse prevention is enabled, enter the number of passwords that the application will remember. Passwords in memory cannot be used again. For example, enter 3 to ensure that the user does not reuse the last 3 passwords defined.
